Vintage Sterling Silver Ring Pendant with Opal Inlay on Silver Snake Chain Pendant Necklace

Sterling silver small ring that has fiery green opal inlay all around on a sterling silver snake chain. The chain has a lobster claw clasp and is stamped 925 Italy. It is a sleek slinky snake chain. Opal is October's birthstone. The inside of the ring pendant is stamped G sterling E. I believe it might possibly be Native American made. Would make a nice gift.
The ring pendant measures 1/2 inch in diameter and is 1/4 inch wide. The chain measures end to end 24 inches long and is roughly 1mm thick.
