Vintage Carolyn Pollack American Southwest Sterling Silver Spirit Bear Gemstone Inlay Pendant Necklace

Well known designer Carolyn Pollack signed, liquid sterling silver chain with Zuni inspired black onyx bear with turquoise and coral zig zag inlay pendant with a silver feather dangling from it. The necklace has a spring ring closure and is signed at the clasp.

Even though Carolyn Pollack is not Native American, she takes inspiration from the Zuni that believe the bear is associated with great strength, power, healing and self-knowledge. He is the great protector, the "sacred bear" He is a spiritual guide and also carries within him supernatural powers. Bear is a powerful healing fetish.

The pendant measures, including the dangling feather, 2 inches long and is 1 inch wide. The necklace chain measures 20 inches from end to end.
