1979 Copenhagen porcelain collectible Mother's Day plate. It is blue and white and depicts a mother fox and her 5 pups, On the back it is stamped Copenhagen Porcelain Made in Denmark B&G 9379 Mother's Day. There are 2 small holes in the back side of the plate, a part of the design, making it easy to hang on the wall to display.

The plate measures roughly 6 inches across.

Previously owned and in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. I do have the original box for this one.

To bring you the lowest shipping price on this item I will be shipping it with UPS which I have to drive to to drop off. That is why the process time is 2 days.

Bing and Grondahl was established in 1853 when Copenhagen was still a small town. A young sculptor named Frederik Vilhelm Grondahl and two brothers M. H. and J. H. Bing combined their capital and Bing & Grondahl Porcelain factory became a reality. The company to the Royal Courts of Denmark, Sweden and Great Britain. Their figurines and plates can be found in many of the worlds noted Museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
